California Wine Festival 2015 - Orange County at Dana Point

This is a pay once and all you care to drink and eat event. Meaning you pay one ticket price and then you drink and eat yourself silly.
The California Wine Festival – Orange County at Dana Point will feature over 70 of California’s best wineries There will also be over 30 restaurants and food purveyors providing delicious food to compliment your wine. My advice be sure to eat lots of food and carry a loaf of Sadie Rose bread with you the entire day to absorb some of the wine 😉
I can personally attest that this is a legit food and wine festival. I have attended for the past four years and have a wonderful time, everytime. See my advice in the ticket price section for early admission.

Ticket Prices
There are many different ticket options, although the ticket I recommend is the “Early Entrance Beachside Wine Festival.” This ticket is the best blend of value and superior access. Why do I recommend the Early Entrance Beachside Festival Ticket? I am glad you asked!
Simply, the event can get very crowded that first 90 minutes of the event, bordering on refugee camp status. The early entry ticket will allow you to try your favorite wineries and restaurants in a relaxed environment. Once the general admission lets in, it is a mad rush as everyone wants to get their first sips and tastes. The experience is much more enjoyable and relaxed as you know that you already had a taste of the best things.
If you can afford the VIP tickets that are worth it. They provide a quite area that is gated off for VIP ticket holders and access to the VIP restaurants and wineries. With that said, I have never purchased the VIP tickets.
