The 2014 Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival will feature more than 30 wineries, restaurants serving their best dishes, a silent auction and opportunity drawing, and musical entertainment. Some of the top wineries participating Grgich Hills, Justin and Zaca Mesa. I attended last year’s event and loved it. Based on their press releases, , this year’s event will be much bigger with a great focus on food.

Golden Foodie Awards Pavilion

Unlimited food tastings are including in the price of admission. The be a Golden Foodie Awards Pavilion will feature top restaurants including James Republic (see my review) , Slapfish (see my review) and Riptide Sushi. Sponsor Celebrity Cruises’s Lawn Grill (see coverage from previous event) will spotlight Chef John Suley. Two time James Beard Award wining Chef James Dean Max of James Republic of Long Beach will also be serving up his best dishes.

The Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival is produced by and will benefit the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and Community Legal Services in Southeast Los Angeles County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free legal services to those in our community who would otherwise be denied access to justice. On a personal note, I found myself using the Legal Aide Society several years ago several years ago when I was the victim of a financial crime. I discovered it was the lifeline I needed to navigate the court system. This is a great service that helps folks from all walks of life.

The New Millertime Boogie Band is a Southern California based group of musicians with considerable experience providing live music in various formats. Millertime Boogie is an extremely versatile four-piece band covering a wide variety of musical styles.
