Turn a Fatty Banana Bread to a Healthy Banana Bread Recipe
Reducing calories and fat is easy with a simple change
This is a post all about how to make a healthy Banana Bread recipe. The process of turning a classic banana bread recipe into a healthy banana bread recipe is simple. It is mostly a matter of changing up a couple ingredients to lower the sugar and fat content.
Typically the best way to do this is reduce fat the fats by cutting them with yogurt and slightly reducing the amount of sugar. See ingredients highlighted in red that I modified. This is easy to shave off 40 calories and ~4 grams of fat. This does not sound like much, but it will add up quickly when you eat more than one slice. Don’t lie, you know you will 😉 These recipes are an amalgamation of several I have used in the past including my Grandma’s, Healthy Living, and Alton Brown’s from Good Eats.
