I will be picking a winner December 26th at 9 a.m. I will drop the tickets in the mail the same morning, so the winner receive them in time for New Years. If you live close I can even drop them off at your house. To learn about this event go to The OC Fair’s Website: http://www.ocfair.com/blockparty/index.php
Why Should I go to the O.C. Fair Block Party?
I attended the OC Fair New Years Eve Block Party last year and had lots of fun! I will be honest, at first I was skeptical about spending my New Years Eve at the Fairgrounds. I was wrong, we had a great time! After doing the nightclub, hotel party and dive bar parties for years, I came to the conclusion that they squash too many people into these venues and no one really has fun. Last year we discovered that the OC Fair Block Party is a great event
because there is a variety of entertainment available. If you get bored watching the 80’s band, then you can go hit the electronica dance party or drive the bumper cars drunk. We spent the night drinking, dancing, and eating at food trucks. This year there is plenty of entertainment including 12 cover bands with music from thr 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. There will also be several free carnival rides including the super slide, always fun after a few drinks. Finally, there will be a casino and a demolition derby! Woot! Last year, the night went by quickly and before we knew it, the clock struck midnight.
For the food truck fans there are a couple of really goof trucks including Dos Chinos, A Bite Truck and White Rabbit. Last year I seriously noshed on three different truck and plan on doing it again. Here are a list of Food Truck in attendance: BaconMania, Dos Chinos, A Bite Truck, Bakery Truck, White Rabbit, Dogzila, Garlic Scapes, Piaggio, Ragin Cajun, Border Grill, Me Soo Hungry, The Burnt Truck, The Lime Truck, Short Stop BBQ.
